I use idea internet on my pc using my w610i.It is painfully slow.Though it shows 115.2 kbps,i never get that much speed.My APN(Access Point Name) is internet.An yideas how to speed it up.

I am using postpaid monthly 250 plan.It says high-speed internet, but that's not the case

Thatz the maximum speed at which data can transfer between your phone and PC, not the connection speed.

how much speed you got??In kBps or kbps (they are not the same in case you misunderstood)

No dude, post how much speed you are supposed to get (something like 256 kbps or 2 mbps, it says something on the plan na?) and high speed internet in india is anything above a dial up. And before we had broadband, high speed internet WAS dial up.

Is EDGE available in your area and if there are using an EDGE enabled handset? You get speed double that on GPRS if you use EDGE
