    open word. Insert > Symbol > chose and put.

    (¯`·._.·[OR]·._.·´¯)

    open note pad
    press alt+xxx
    xxx stands for the number of the ascii symbol

    Basic symbols:
    065-090 : A-Z
    91-96: brackets
    097 to 122 = a to z
    ™: 0153
    Þ: 0222
    ©:0169
    Ps: written from memory may not be correct

    ps: can also locate these and other unicode chars using the charecter map.
    in xp got to start>all programs>accesories>system tools>charecter map
