how to skip errors in vcd

i have a vcd which has got some error pathches how to bypas them automatically while playing on a computer?

save the video data using IsoBuster

1- First of all, clean the CD (the shiny portion) with a little alcohol or perfume. Apply alcohol/perfume on a piece of cotton and rub it in a circular fashion on the CD.

2- Copy AVSEQ01.DAT to your hard drive using IsoBuster

3- Download VirtualDub

4- Use VirtualDub to open AVSEQ01.DAT and cut out the portions in which it gets stuck. for more info on how to do this, do a simple google search. You might have to convert it into another format in order to work with it. You can also use VCDCut.

5- Write the file back to another new CD using Nero (choose Burn a video CD option).

Mr. Nimda virtual dub itself stucks at parsing VCD streams ...just try it urself

Try the software VCD clipper at :

its a freeware which clips the video upto the point that it is good. if any problem it aborts at that point while it does not remove the portion clipped so far. thus you can repeat the process of clipping to get the good quality portion of the cd.

>>Clean the disc with soft cloth wet in a colin or any mild solution, You can even use AfterShave or perfum
>>Put some cold cream on it and rub it all over the shiny surface for some time
>>Wipe it thoroughly with a soft cloth and insert the cd in your computer's cd drive
>>Copy file 'AVSEQ01.DAT' from MPEG folder with the help of ISO Buster
>>Use VirtualDub to open AVSEQ01.DAT and cut out the portions in which it gets stuck and save the file
