how to restore windows xp desktop default icons?

Hello,

I've Windows XP Professional installed. after few days i've installed lots of theme to change it's look n feel.

now problem comes up with my desktop and start menu icons which became defaulted as in some theme.

if i change the current theme. the desktop icons and start menu icon doesn't get change

can anyone help me out for this?

U can use s/w, that hv an option to Reset Icon Cache.
It should solve the problem.

PS: X-teq also hv that option...

Tweak UI has option to Rebuild Icons. It is available as a free download from Microsoft website.

PS: Browsing through Xteq merely to reset icons will be overkill...
