How to remove linux

Hi,

There are 3 OS in my desktop PC. One is Win 98, 2nd is Win XP and the 3rd one is Linux. Some how the linux got corrupt. Now I don't want Linux in my m/c. How to format that partition?

Open disk management in windows. You will find an unknown partition. Format it to whatever you like.
And what on earth did you do to corrupt linux drive. This is the first time I am hearing of an unrepairable corrupt linux drive.

U need to clear the MBR since the boot loader is installed there.

Boot with a Win 98 bootable disk and run this command:
fdisk /mbr {Press Enter}

Now boot up Win XP and from the Disk Management console, Delete Linux partitions ...
Start > Run > diskmgmt.msc {Press Enter}

Do NOT delete Linux partitions first or you'll lose your boot sector ..
