how to increase the bandwidth

i hav a project where in i am supposed to increase the bandwith/downloading speedthan normal while using a 56kbpsmodem....how do i do it...

I dunno much abt this thing, but i think u can zip the content at one end and then unzip at the receiving end!!
the processor of both the sending n receiving machines have to be good so that u dont end up losing time in the zipping n unzipping process.
if the content is already zipped then i dunno what to do.
mayb some of the gurus in the forum can help u in a better way

i have heard abt tweakin the modem to increase bandwidth

but dont know exactly,

u can increase the downloadin speeds with the Accelators though
mine is flashget

dats kinda nice but i dont eve cross da bandwith limit ie 500mb so its not a prob for me however i wud like to look in2 it lets wait for more answers...
