how to disable images in firefox?

hey how to disable images in firefox?
to save brandwith there is no use of loading avataars & others pics
i khow how to do in IE not in ff.

Either goto: Tools -> Options and in Content tab uncheck the option Load Images. It'll block all images for all sites.

But if u want to block images from a particular site, then simply open the site and right-click on any image and select the option Block Images from xxxxx.com.

There is a Image Show Hide extension available at FF's website. Install it and you are done.

I followed your second advice and disabled images from thinkdigit.com and ended up not being able reply to any message since along with the images the quote button also disappeared and then had to re-enable it by going to Tools>Options>Contents>Load Images>Exceptions.

Oh, then Adblock is the best, like if u wanna block all avatars , add this, > *www.thinkdigit.com/forum/images/avatars* and so on...
