I have a dump of Windows XP Professional in my PC's hard disk.
Now I want to make a bootable CD of Windows XP.
How do I make one?
Kindly help.

Here's a link I used to make a bootable cd when I didn't want a slipstremed version:
*old.bink.nu/xpbootcd/

Isnt it is illegal to make cds of windows from dump files?

I don't suppose. See, MS allows you to create the backup copies from the your own cd. Since almost all windows users will backup only the visible files, I think MS can't stop u if u want to recreate your original bootable disk by downloading generic boot images.
Or am I wrong in supposing so?

It is completly legal if you make copies of your own disk. Even if you modify it and add the Service packs and hot fixes or some extra things. If it wasn't then why would MS give that "/integrate" option to all those updates?

It is legal as long as you are using it on single (read no of license you have) system(s) at a time only.

Yes, But when you have its legal version. For eg: If your genuine disc is destroyed for some reasons like scratches etc. using its backup copy with genuine key is not illegal but downloaded ISO images with cracked keys is illegal. @g_goyal2000 - If this is the matter here. Stop it now!
