I am using Mandrake 10.1 (or shall I say Mandriva now ;)) and PCQ Linux on different machines. Recently Digit gave Linspire on DVD.

How is it? Shall I replace one of the existing distros with this one? I have heard it is one of the most user friendly distro. Can any one please tell me more?

Thanks.

yes i agree... kde can never never match gnome... linspire is more of a commercial distro.. can never match the fedoras or the buntus(u/k)

Yuck .. All eyecandy and low on features .. Mandrake is much better .. Suse is even better ..

Agree, suse is the best! Although knoppix and other live distros are really helpfully for beginners.

By the way, is there any way to hard drive?

P.S. i think that Mepis from apri'l issue was much more user friendly and had more software with it.

Thanks everyone for the response. I burnt a CD with the ISO image and booted from it. I agree with most of you. Its nothing great :(

Just tried it . And it simply sucks, specialy the annual billing concept of CNR, less hardware support and slow boot time.

Its not worthy,,,,,
