Try a real DVD software like PowerDVD or WinDVD.

First try the windows media player :p
In case it gives an error, install Nero or as Kalpik said, a DVD s/w like Power DVD or Win DVD.

Yea the Windows Media Player gives some copyright error. And what i meant was i wanted to choose between say 4 movies from the screen. Now i've to select the file from the DVD. I presently use Power DVD. I read somewhere cant recall now that Real Player gives a perfect simulation of the DVD player xperience including remote. I get the remote but cant get the player to work in that mode.
