How can i run win32 App in Knopix Live cd??

i run Knopix Live cd but i dont know how to run win32 Application in

that and what setting i have to do in that ..??

so pls. help me.

You cannot run WIn32 applications on GNU/Linux.... You can only emulate WIn32 applications.... In Knoppix there's Wine that can emulate Win32 apps...

$ winesetup will take you through a wizard for setting up directories where windows libs can be found

$ wine notepad.exe for emulating windows notepad.

You might like to also try Crossover Suite , Bochs and other projects that can run win32 apps

I think you did not try Crossover Suite... its meant for that specific purpose... but its proprietarty software...

Not all Win32 appl runs with Wine or Crossover Suite, there are still in developing stage... its according to the appl u want to run...

But i heard that some like VMWare soft is use or run win98 os or winxp os in linux so which is a Full name of that ??
