You can remove it using Disk Management. But after that you have to boot from XP Installation CD in Recovery Console mode to restore the Boot sector.
Once you boot in Recovery Console, run the fixmbr command. Syntax given here:

1. repair your mbr.....boot from winxp cd, goto repair and type fixmbr. Check if you grub vanishes and windows appears.
2. Now goto disk management and remove the linx paritions.
3. format these partitions and give them names like d,e,f etc.
