When the bios asks to boot from CD, press any key before that goes away or else you will have normal startup...

First enter BIOS settings by pressing [del] key on the first screen, and then go to Adv. Bios settings and set First Boot Device to CD-Rom. Then, Re-boot your system, press any key to boot from CD on the second screen when asked to. Once you start booting from the CD, select fresh install, say yes, I want to install Windows on a drive that already contains an Operating System, on the next screen, delete the partition containing the operating system and then create a new one in the empty space. Then, format it with the File System you want and install Windows!:D

XP Crystal is a P-rated version of XP.

Don't install it. it has got lot of problems.
Better go for a Simple Xp with SP2. At the bootup insert the CD, and when it asks for booting from CD, press any key. Now proceed to the install menu. Before installing, select to format the drive. And do a fresh install. This should solve your probs.

Ok qadir, if bootup installation doesn't workout, simply pop in your CD after your computer has started working and let the autorun play. At the installation menu, click on install.

Try formatting the drive from a bootup floppy disk or a live CD.

Hey friend, it's easy all you have to do is that run your computer with any os then insert your cd in cd-rom. Go to x:\setup.exe and run it where x: is the drive letter of your cd-rom drive. Then select Install Windows XP. Don't forget to choose New Installation as Installation type not Upgrade. Supplly all required information and restart your PC. Then you can format your drive. And remember Crystal XP is not but it is the pirated version of xp.
