Help: Windows media player hangs.

When i run wmp 11, the player hangs on starting(it doesnot respond for about 30secs).after that it runs fine.what could be the problem?

Try first updating yours windows with latest updates, there is one update for WMP 11 too post sp3 may be that can be an issue, else try reinstalling it or repair your windows using your sp3 cd.

The strange part is- WMP 11 doesnot appear in the add/remove programs list. I'll try the update. Thanx
