[help] tv tuner disappear

hi,
i have a intex internal tv tuner with windows vista sp1. i use lifeview tvr for the tuner.

my problem is that the tvtuner most of the time disappear (even from device manager) and so i am not able to view tv.i also tried some other software like winamp with tv plugin and nero but nothing( these used to worked fine also).


this problem occured resently when i reinstall a clean vista with sp1(integrated).

befor this i have vista which i updated to sp1 and tvtuner worked fine then.

any help, please.

i think you might want to follow the steps when you first install the TV tuner cards...

like uninstall it from the system then reboot (if not in normal mode then try safe mode)
and when asked to install automatically ..say no
then proceed to the location of the CD where the appropriate driver is located and installed it

or you can get to something similar to the device manager in xp and on finding the tv tuner there..hit properties and then update the driver..install from disc...oops you said you cant see it sometimes in device manager also...how about in safemode?

how about reseating the damn tv tuner card?
