help to install USB port

Hi

Please help i disconnected my usb port a year ago and now i need to install it again. can anyone help me. I am not able make this USB port work.


I have plugged the usb port inthe motherboard but its not reading the webcam. All the software and drivers are installed. Even in device manage its showing USB port controller. But still the damn webcam is not working.


The webcam is fine i checked it at my friends place. What can be the problem Please do reply soon.

I need to know where in the mother board i can plug this. How do i know its the right place. What will show up in my device manager when this adds up.

well bud i am not that deep in h/w ..but guess the process is not that complicated.....i wud suggest take ur mobo to ur Vendor..or any proffesional and he will take care of ur problem....
