help to buy new CPU

my friend wants to buy a new CPU. his budget is 15K

he wants a
PIV 2.6Ghz
512MB/1GB RAM
cabinet
power supply
motherboard
HDD (80/160GB)

is the above possible in 15K

plz specify a gud motherboard so that the entire stuff can fit inside the 15K budget

My suggestion, NO BARGAINS....

AMD Athlon 64 3000+ with A8V-MX ~ 7000/-
Hynix 512 ~ 2100
HDD 80 Gb ~ 2200
Cabinet INTEX pulsar ~ 600
PSU generic 400W(say iball) ~ 400

total ~ 12500

so u can get another ram or a better motherboard...

replace the motherboard with MSI RS480

512 ram

and it will be 15000 exact...

this will be equivalent or better to a P4 3.0 Ghz processor

Are you sure about that..I guess you missed out on something

I dont think and Amd 64 3000+ s939 would be cheaper than 5.5k and an asus a8v-mx would be around 4200

so combined should be around 9.5k the cheapest ....
