Right off the assembly line
got an AMD Sempron 2400+ processor ans ASUS A7N8X-VM/400 MB.......
now my motherboard.....died....in warranty....vendor says cant get it replaced...production stopped....told me to tell him any board in tht range..of cost.......3.5k-4k.......PLZ GUYS RECOMMEND ME...... :cry:

Hey , you can go for the Krypton motherboards, Digit gave them good scores , you can go for the nforce2 ultra 400 chipset MB's without / with IGP , i recommend u go for that with a cheap fx5200 card or someting better or worse like MX4000.

If u think i want to upgrade the processor, go for the sempron 754 series and MB .
MSI also has some good range in that , what you can do also is go for the viA chipset options like to KT400A or the KT600 series or even the KT800 series originally designed for the AMD Athlon XP series .

how can you comapare thatnforce 2(if it is) mobo with useless stuff?
ask the dealer to either arrange for it or get you something equivalent or better.
goto the company.
or ask for something with no money bar.

If the Krypton C18G-400 (Biostar M7NCG400) is still available, it's very similar to the A7N8X-VM. IMO it even has better features than the Asus board.
