I installed IE7 Beta. From past two weeks it has been popping up rediculous advertisements. I think its adware. The files included in this whole thing are - iexplorer.exe, hopesign.exe, Clockflaw.exe and about 45 .dll files. I want to use IE7 safely because most of the Microsoft/Windows applications use IE7 for networking purposes. Does some know how to cure this problem?

first download install and update freeware adaware anti-spyware and avg anti-spyware. then run their (one after the other) full system scans.
reboot after each scan.
then downlaod and install 'ccleaner' to clear up pc junk.
reboot.

doing all these mentioned below, just once will keep u adware free almost !!!

download install update 'spyware blaster'

download an 'ideal' hosts file from this place . unzip it and replace ur host file situated in ur C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC folder, with this one. then make it 'read-only'. Hosts Manager is a good tool to have on ur pc to manage the hosts file.

download 'ZonedOut' from here. it can Add, Delete, Import, Export,
Build a WhiteList and do More. it now includes Restricted, Trusted and
Intranet Zones". it is an excellent too just 185kb. add delete as u
desire. then download IE-SpyAd For ZonedOut from this site .

download and use xp anti-spy an xclnt security tweaker.
