Earlier I have XP installed in my c:/ drive..than i installed vista 5384 in I:/ drive.
After installing the vista the drive letter has changed and drive I:/ has become c:/ and c:/ has become d:/..and so on.

One thing more i have two hard disk and xp & vista are installed on different hard disk.

When I am booting..it automatically boot vista..and i got no option to select OS.

Vista has taken over the XP boot loader, this is normal, but in your case it has wiped XP bootloader with it's own

remove your Vista HD, & try booting from the XP drive, if it boots, then i would say 2 methods

1) Use some bootloader like Partition magic bootloader or something like that, to remake the boot partitions

2) Start XP, put the Vista beta 2 DVD in the drive & paste this command. This will reload your XP bootloader, & wipe out vista bootloader, remember after this u won't be able to boot into vista

E:\boot\bootsect.exe /nt52 ALL /force
Now reinstall Vista if u want, or wait for a while cos Vista RC1 is coming
