i have an ibm thinkcenter p4 2.06 ghz ibm motherboard (d86bgxd) winxp 256 ram,when i plug my pen drive it does not get detected pls help me

Just check off for the plug and play services and other services in the MSCONFIG utility ...
For this type msconfig in the run dialog box.......
