help::cannot see folders' contents in windows 2000

Dear friends,

I am not able to access folders of my c drive such as winnt, program files etc.
Also I cannot see options in add/remove programs and cannot use search.
Please help urgently.

boy.... lots of problem??

is it a fresh install?? well to view folders click tools>folder options then in the box click view all "hidden files & folders".......

add/remove programs is avelable in control panel.... & for search i needa little ditails from u about the problem..... u may try a "chkdsk /f" command also known as scandisk....

this is a common problem in win2000 after using unprotected (lolz) Internet or LAN

some worm , i knw the name, but not sure abt it

install win2k sp4 ( temp solution )

upgrade to xp sp2

coz 2k is downright buggy with networks whether internet or intranet

but for games 2k is the best
