I Always Prefer 1080p
Alleged "cracked" versions of Vista appearing on peer-to-peer networks often turn out to be Trojan horses

I have checked. Iam not a expert. Iam studying security. Iam learning various things in security. Well from what i can tell vista is cracked. All they have to get vista is proper source.

And Vista is only thing which contains Malware. Almost any software, games, keygen, trainers contain spyware, trojans, malware from p2p. The people who download those should get the files from good sources. I can not tell you the examples here.

"DriveSentry has also seen criminals disguise Trojans as free versions of Windows XP in the past, Lynch said." From the link.

Even XP had those. But that did stop pirates. Neither that will stop vista.

If you get it from BitTorrent, you can check out the comments posted by others at the tracker to see if it's okay or not, then you can mount the ISO and scan it with several security tools. And if you're still skeptical, you can always run the OS on VMWare (although Aero won't work) and see if something bad happens.

One thing I would like to point out though. If the cracked Vista cannot be patched with the official patches from time to time, its not worth having. One is really asking for trouble.
A little off topic, I did find the price for home users a bit steep. I could buy a laser printer instead and continue using XP and Open SuSE.

Com'on. If you have to fill monopolist pockets go & spend 15000 for ultimate we are happy with. Don't scare by malware. Threat of malware is spread by MS and its agents because they saw infront of thier eyes, Vista & Office 2007 came to under ground market and they couldn't do anything.
