gta sanandreas runs slowly

when i gta san andreas on my pc it runs/moves slowly means every thing on game like characters cars everythnig move slowly.
my pc confi is
intel 845 mobo
intel p4 2.4 processor
256mb 266mhz ram

tell me how to speed it up so that it runs smoothly

The Onboard of 845 motherboard cant pull off GTA San Andreas even with every detail stripped to their lowest.Better invest in a dedicated Graphics card to play the game smoothly.

San Andreas runs at 800x600x32 med on my onboard 6100

To run San andreas smoothly, yo need atleast a,

p4 2.6 ht
512 mb ddr400
GeForce 6600 256 mb card
And a 865 chip set mobo.

All details can be set to good limits on this hardware.
