I am upgradin my sys. I have a Intel 845GL mobo.
My dealer has quoted a price of 2800 for a XFX5200 128MB graphics card. That fits my budget. But should I go for this card?

I have 128MB 266MHz DDR RAM on my sis. For a better gaming performance I want to add more RAM. If I add another 256MB 266MHz DDR RAM along with the 128, will all games work fine? Is there any compatibility or memory sharing problem with 2 RAM cards?

dont worry the RAM modules will work fine ... the price that ur dealer iss giving u for the xfx 5200 is also very good. go for this card if u want to play all latest games at low/medium settings. also wht price are u getting the 266 mhz ddr ram for ? dont buy it for more than 800-900 bucks . coz ddr 400 mhz ram (256 mb) is only for around 1200 bucks.

Ur rates r shocking!
I asked him the rate of 256MB RAM 400MHz he said 1575/-.

I think 266Mhz will be lower... but nothing to match 900.

It is Hynix brand. Can you please guide me, how can i get it at 900... I might go for 512MB RAM!!!

Newez wats better? 2X256 or one 512MB RAM???

these are the rates that i go 2 days back from Zion (it uses hynix chipsets and has 3-5 years warranty)

1. Zion 256 mb ddr pc-400 --- 1160 + 4% local tax
2. Zion 512 mb ddr pc-400 --- 2600 + 4% local tax

plz confirm with ur local dealer man he is LOOTING u. beware !!!!

Well ne idea which games wont work on my system with 384MB 266MHz DDR RAM and XFX 5200 128MB 3D CARD?

Hey Y dont u Just get faster Ram And OVER CLOCK UR BOARD SETTINGS IF POSSIBLE NOT SURE ?????

More Power !!! And y dont u get a Fx 5600 XFX 3150/- Around 3 weeks Back !!! And XFX Fx5700Le 3390/- 3 weeks back !!! Where ur spending 2800/- i dont think u should mind spending 300/- and go for something better !!!
