Graphics Card Options

Hi people,

I m basically into Graphics Gaming programming(Java 3D)
However recently due to high hardware requirements it has become imperitive for me to buy a graphics card.
My budget is about Rs. 6000 /-
Can u please suggest a good graphics card which can handle hi-end graphics softwares and also games

geforce 6600gt is the norm now
but tht costs 10k

for 6k if u r lucky u might end up with a geforce 6600 non gt

I purchased Leadtek 6600LE for RS.5500/- 2 days back in Mumbai from PC Guide,Lamington Road.

This will suit your budget the best

try to get a second hand 9800Pro for 5K...will be slightly slower than the 6600GT, but a much better choice than a 6600 non GT..

incase of PCI-express, a 6600GT is the way to go..

My motherboard has a 4xAGP


So can i place the 8x Graphics Card 6600LE????

WHY HAVE THE MODS MADE A DIFFERENT THREAD SOLELY FOR GRAPHICS CARD RELATED QUERIES ??
