hello friends i would like to know that i'm having 2.4GHz intel original motherboard and processor there is no AGP slot on it ,so can i use the graphic card on the PCI slot ,will it work or is there any other kind of graphi card that i can use kindly solve my this problem buddies. :D

No, you cannot install an agp card on a pci slot. They both have different slot interfaces. But you can buy a PCI graphics card and install it on the PCI slot. Search this forum for mention of PCI graphics cards for details and cost.
 
What's the model number of you're motherboard. Check the box or use Everest Sys Info Tool

If you have no AGP but only PCI-Express slot, yes you can add a graphics card. Majority of the addon cards sold today are PCI-E.

If you have no AGP but just regular PCI slots, you'll have a hard time getting an addon card. PCI graphics card were hard to find 6 yrs back. They're obsolete now. Even if you do manage to get an used PCI card, in all probability your onboard graphics will be better (assuming you're mobo was manufactured in the last 2-3 yrs).
