gprs connection not working properly

i have a p4 computer with 256 sdram & samsung c100 mobile phone & i connect my mobile with computer by data cable. i am using gprs conection & i am also able to making internet connection though easy gprs software to internet. and than when i opening a site by internet explorer, site is in progress to loading & my connection is not risponding, it will stop. what is the problem i don't know.
please help me. how can i use my internet connection properly.

..theres an option in easygprs where u have to create new acess point and give your apn adress, like airtelgrps.com for airtel.

I think theres no option in cellphone to set apn for modem connection.
