I run windows XP Pro SP2(legal version). The gpedit.msc networking tweak is not avalaible.
The options are:
Local Computer Policy>>Adminitrative templates>>WIndows COmponents. There is no Networking Tab.
Could this due to the recent installation of the Vista Transformation Pack 6.0?
I installed it on a freshly formated HDD.
It worked on my previous installation of Windows XP on the same machine.
I have downloaded all the updates(both software and firmware).

Is there any solution to this?

so might the thread poster be using starter edition coz it does not support networking.... but if you are if a SP2 user cannot get it ,, then it might be a virus ...

That means there is nothing such as
Local Computer Policy>>Adminitrative templates>>WIndows COmponents>>Networking

but there is
Local Computer Policy>>Adminitrative templates>>networks

Case solved,close the file :D
