Google and Microsoft could be among the famous high-tech names to disappear from the corporate landscape within the next 20 years, if a cycle of how companies die repeats itself.

A study of the profits of 3,200 of the largest companies trading publicly on the US stock exchange between 1960 and 2004 has revealed a third go out of business and a third are acquired on average 23 years into their existence.

M$ will be there to squeeze our economy and with bad OS even in 2020! ;)
today they got DRM installed in VIsta,In 2020 or may be in 2012,they will come with a patent and a US law to implant proprietory firmware to be loaded to all US citizens and probably the whole world too.
Ps:few members here already got that firmware installed,flashed every day with newer one ;)
Google will be bought by M$ by that time.Free/Libre Open Source Software movement will be there too!struggling with the FUDing from Microsoft and may be newer companies.
And of the all,there will be AV companies there,supplying AVH(Anti Virus for Human firmware) :lol:
