Gmail Blocked Yahoo Emails

Gmail, the free mail solution provided by Google, caused some new headaches for the company after the service accidentally blocked Yahoo Group Emails, restricting all the messages coming from Yahoo.
A Google Groups discussion reported that Gmail filtered the entire content sent to the Google mail service and blocked the emails delivered by an Yahoo account.

The first post was published on March 17 while Google officially confirmed the issues on March 19: “We have worked with Yahoo Groups to resolve this issue. You should now be able to receive messages from Yahoo Groups in your Gmail account,” GmailGuide sustained.

Although the company was working to resolve the problem, it seems like some of the users are still unable to receive Yahoo messages. The giant portal confirmed the issues, sustaining its employees are currently working with Gmail’s team to repair the problems but they might require more time that it was expected.

“This was a difficult issue to diagnose, because we were able to replicate the issue with some, but not all, of our test Gmail accounts. Some of us were missing Groups messages in our Gmail accounts, some of us were receiving them as usual. We appreciate those of you who wrote in detail about the problems your members were having on the Groups Technical Issues board and in email to Customer Care,” Yahoo said, according to Search Engine Roundtable.

It isn’t the first time when Gmail causes problems because its functions are not properly working. Some time ago, Google’s mail solution was to remove all the messages stored in numerous accounts, the company confirming the bugs. Although the e-mails were never recovered, the Gmail team sustained the problems were fixed so users are now secure as long as they are logged in to their accounts.
