Dude firstly the 5800 is long dead ! Supposedly the worst card ever made by Nvidia. Then 1 gig is min recommended for a uber gaming rig ! and lastly any PC however expensive wont last you more than 2-3 years in this age of fast track technology.

A really fast rig (not the fastest) and a realistic rig (components available in india) would be

AMD Fx-55 / Amd 64 4000+
MSI K8N Diamond
Western digital raptor II 74gb *2 raid 0
Samsung 193p
Corsair DDR 400 XMS series(512mb *2)
Gainward 6800 GT Golden sample * 2 SLI
Benq 1620
Audigy 2 ZS
Klipsch promedia 5.1 ;)

Reality check: Gainward 2400/Ultra DOESN't Have a Pci-X version, because believe it or not, i brought the card in December 2004. And at that time it only had a AGP8x Version. Btw MSI K8N Diamond is not a SLI board.

Umm, i think 4 months is quite sometime mate. The pci-x can be had now. And abt the Diamond its not your fault i guess :p gigabyte has had trouble naming their mobos. There is a lot of confusion regarding the mobos.
For confirming it chk out this page *www.msi.com.tw/program/products/mainboard/mbd/pro_mbd_detail.php?UID=638
