this is the gaming pc that i'm thinking of buying

Processor: intel quad core q8200 Rs8800
motherboard: intel dp45sg Rs7500
Ram: transcend 2gbx2 ddr3 1333mhz Rs4000
Graphics card: sapphire hd 4870 1gb Rs13500
harddisk: seagate sata2 500gb (32mb cache) Rs3000
smps: CoolerMaster RS650-PCARE3-EU Extreme Power 650W Rs4300
cabinet: CoolerMaster RC-534-SKN2-GP Centurion 534 Silver or Black Rs3700
monitor: benq lcd 22inch T2200HD Rs10000
dvd writer: samsung sata Rs1100
speaker: Altec BXR1121 2.1 Channel Rs1100
keyboard/mouse: logitech/microsoft Rs800
ups: APC 650W Rs3000

total: Rs60800

is there a cheaper quad motherboard that supports crossfire?

is the smps and ups wattage correct(650W) or is it too high? since i play games at high graphics i assumed it'll consume power. is the price too high? since many of my friends have only cheap smps for rs1200 or something.

is there a cheaper cabinet which provides the same ventilation as the one given above( front, rear and side fan)? since i play games for 4-5 hours at a stretch it shouldn't get heated and cause freezing problems.

since i play games for 4-5 hours at a stretch do i need to use some external coolant or something?

are the above hardwares compatible with each other( processor motherboard and graphics card)? i'm a beginner so just confirming.

i want to know whether the prices that i have quoted are reasonable. i live in chennai and i'm going to buy it in ritchie street. these prices are just for my reference so that the shopkeeper doesn't charge more than that.

please suggest changes in configuration(if any) that suits my budget(rs 60000)?

The config given by Surinder is very well equiped. Stick with that. For graphics card you can also go for 2 MSI HD 4770 512 MB card in Crossfire. Price will be around 6.4x2k=12.8k. Their performance is far better than 4870 and 4890, ATI's highest end single core graphics card. 2 4770 in CF can beat the mighty Geforce GTX 280 and compete with GTX 285.
They have very little power consumption and they r lot cooler than 4870.

actually i'm not going to crossfire. so i'll stick with surrender except for cabinet i'll go with CM centurion 590(rs 3000) cause it has front rear top and side fan provisions. do u guys know any good shops in ritchie street, chennai?

does anyone know about a shop called navakar in ritchie street? my uncle has a friend in that shop so i could avail some discount. i want to know whether that shop is relaiable since my uncle is not a techie. he just knows that shop. please reply guys those in chennai.
