i think v can spend a 1000 bucks extra for 160 GB barcuda.. :) and the fx 5200!! omg wat a choice its an entery level card unless u not having gud funds or plans of playin games at gud fps with aa's don ever go in.. and that too the rate of this is too high v can get the same thing for 3300 and for this price i can get the far better FX5700 (NON LE)!

hmm.. the sli option is great.. just that at the moment.. only about 50 odd games support sli.. which is not bad atall..
but the true effects of sli will be seen when there are more bios uprades in the coming months..
and then those who do have sli now. will be reaping rich benefits. and that`s why i`l buy my next card.. i think lets see..
lol

 This system is sufficient to play even the latest games.

What !!!!!!!!!!!! a sys with 5200 is sufficient to play the latest games??????
huh

and if anyone is buyin a 915g intel chipset mobo , he must not buy at least a 5200/5300 ..... no point. The 915 onboard graphics performs resonably well and in some cases can be compared to performance of a 5200(ofcourse the 5200 is better than a 915 onboard but not much better to make u spend/waste extra 5k ).

As said by Kiran_K : AGP Asus 128MB GeForce FX5200 is enough to play all the modern games ...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This card hurts man .. sorry to say but the 5200's really ruin the actual fun of the game .... moreover prices have dropped enough to make a FX5700LE an entry level card .....

I do have a gaming configuration related question so I decided to post here rather than start a new topic.
A friend of mine is about to upgrade his pc solely for gaming. He needs to change the following components:
Processor
Motherboard
Graphic Card
Memory
SATA HDD (optional)
Necessary power supply.

He has a budget of around Rs.30000 considering all the components mentioned above and Rs.25000 without considering the gaming graphic card (since he is thinking about getting the graphic card from his sister in the US).But then he would need a decent graphics card to fill the void as his sister will be coming to India only after 2 months.

Please suggest the components along with the price preferably in Mumbai.
