I have heard that fx-55 and fx-57 are basically made for gaming.
1-what are their configuration and
2-how is 57 better than 55?
3-what are their prices and
4- do you think their worth it? i mean is there value per performance ratio for these machines?

FX 55 - 2.6Ghz
FX 57 - 2.8 Ghz

Its based on new SanDeigo Core.
both have 1MB L2 Cache.
both have multiplier unlocked for overclocking.

3-what are their prices and
FX-55 = 40K approx
FX-57 = 66K approx

Both the processors are very costly.
Not worth spending s omuch money.

Instead get AMD 64 3000+/3200+ Venice Core and overclock it to 2.6Ghz.
3000+ cost = 7.5 to 8K
3200+ cost = 11-12K approx

The Venice core are also gr8 for gaming

if u want perfomance equal to that of fx -55 or 57 try a 3800+ or a 4000+(single core).it might not be as good an overclocker but since cpu dependance on games is very low u might as well settle for a lower clocked 3500+ or 3700+
