frozen ipod..please help

I have an ipod 20 GB.
I was transfering data files from my friends PC to my ipod.
The file which was being transferrend was about 500MB.
Suddenly in the middle it showed some error message that the file can not be copid...and my ipod stoped responding...it's frozen & the display shows the words do not disconnect...but the safely remove hardware didn't show ipod as a connected device.

I can hear the disk rotating & the ipods also heated up.

I tried pressing Menu+play together but still nothing works.

Is there any wasy to getting it back to normal or I'm going get it badly from my dad

Unfortuantely I do not know of anyway to unfreeze it.

This happens quite often with my dads PDA too which is done away with by pressing the reset button.

I dont know if there is a reset button provided. Actually it should be provided.

I'm sorry I cannot provide much help to you.

Why dont you call the dealer who sold it to you, he might be able to provide some help.

Just a quick fix I read there was

press the Center + Menu for 5 seconds

my ipod is back to normal.
It's just a month since i got an ipod so I didn't know it would freeze.
