Recently when I tried to 'Check for Updates' from my firefox,it gave an error of AUS something malformed.So I checked that in about:config,and changed the aus2 to aus and all...no change...how to rectify this problem and what is AUS???

See "C. Software Update with malformed/broken update file" section. Check whether the "app.update.url " in about:config looks similar to what they have given in that page.
