    anyone using a firefox plug-in to stop auto play of videos in twitter & facebook ???

    try FlashStopper add-on should do it easily for you, both Flash and HTML5.

    In address bar type "about:config". Then search for autoplay. You will see "media.autoplay.enabled", double click it and change the value to false. It will stop the video to play automatically.
    I did this way without any plug-in.

    The one i have mentioned doesn't require any plugin or tweaks in browser. Its just a setting in Facebook.
