Yep, I do have a paid account. (premium actually)

And the reason why I said it's slow is:

Look at this thread by me in thinkdigit ;)

thats the Fastest u would go with RS.com i guess...

anyway RS.com had one mirror on VSNL, what happened to that ?? send one email to RS.com asking information on that... 6/7 months ago i was downloading a content from RS.com then I saw VSNL.com Servers there listed on RS.com Chose Download Localtion page... !!!

Cant say about now....

If u can connect to that service, u would get the highest of speeds !!!

Nopes dude, I get 5MBps (bytes) from Rapidshare when using an
accelerator.

Just now I finished with a 3.6GB DVDrip (xVID) and it took me 11 minutes.
Believe it or not.

And the screenshot at my other other thread (the link), is from RS
itself running at 5MBps. (Did you see it?)

My friend works in another company in B'lore, where she tells me there have
been instances when RS has gone over 14MBps (Bytes).

So it's got nothing to do with RS, or our ISPs. Just the connection type.
That's all.

That's ok. Sometime back even I hadn't used anything better.

Work hard and get into a Top IT firm.

No offence meant to Indian companies, AT ALL, but if you are after insane
speed internet, try to get into a foreign company based in India, like I did.

Life will be good, at 45Mbps and upwards. So you can download a DVD in
120 seconds, or maybe 200 seconds.

After that if you are forced to sit at even a 1Mbps BSNL/TI/Bharti/Sify line,
you'll end up smashing the comp out of impatience.

Why do you think I've been banned by my friends from sitting at their PCs?

if that would the only gaol of a job, then i would prefer to be the house mate of the 75 yr old Swedish Woman, who owns a 40 gbps

ha ha ha ha, I second you! Good one. But I wonder if she'll pay you a
kick ass salary to stuff your pocket at the end of the month?

I don't think so! ;)

If you post any more threads about your download speed I will kill you!!

Aw, chill chill dude, easy. I was just saying......my speed was a bit slow
yesterday.....that's all.

It's rocking today! But since you've asked so politely not to post any more
stuff about my download speeds, I won't. (I had a screenshot ready though).
