Heylo,,
I just didn't get it how to change the thumbnail of a picture. Can anyone explain me with step by step procedure and which software to use?

you mean size of the picture? you can do it in the easiest softwares like MS paint to better ones like photoshop.

In ms paint, just click on the edge and resize to what you require then go to file -> save as and choose a different name/path.
In photoshop go to Image -> Image size and then choose the required size and then file -> save as again.

^^He wants to change the thumbnail view that he gets of the image when he sees it in Windows Explorer with view set as Thumbnail
