EP mode of DVD burning?

hi ther can any one tell me how to burn DVD`s in ep mode & how .
because in ep mode we can burn upto 4hrs of vedio in adisc of 4.7 Gb

EP is supported by recorders, so recrd in EP mode and then burn...
