Dxdiag Application error

After closing direct x 9.0 c I got this error:

The instruction at "0x01a91177" referenced memory at "0x02f6eb08". The memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program.

And also in the direct x files tab it was written tht:

Several files (d3dx8d.dll, d3dx9d.dll, d3d9d.dll) are debug versions, which will run slower than the retail version.

Where did u install DX from ?

plz explain ?
anyways maybe a reinstall of DX will solve the problem !
if not .. completely uninstall and reinstall !
search for how to disable DX usind third party software !

you can do shift+del to direct x files u find in ur pc.
Then clear the entries in win registry and then problem solved

he can understand when u post just once ...
secondly ... u need a complete uninstallation of DX ..
deleting files just wont do it
and messing with registry isnt good advice either
if he deleted the wrong keys hes in deep SH!T. ..
if he leaves some entries .. hes back to square one .. and he wont be able to reinstall DX neither will his current DX work !
man think a lil before u give out advice like that !

Fixed but another prob... when opening dxdiag it chechks for whql siganatures, when it checks my computer, my comp restarts when after restarting it says do you want to debug cause it was not propely shut down and i click no then again restarts............

Using windows 2000 SP4

Another problem is tht i can't boot into safe mode, it says it is starting and then nothing happens........Blank....
