Broken In
After an unclean shutdown because of the power outage and not enough power in my ups to sustain it my computer takes a long time to show the drives. The search animation keeps on going. I was using microsoft's virtual pc to install linux when the power outage occured. I have win xp with sp1, 512mb ram, 2.6 with 865gbf, 80gb samsung hdd, liteon 1693s dvdrw, samsung cdrw, pinnacle tv tuner, nvidia geforce 5200 fx, creative live 5.1 card. Please help me out as i dont want to reinstall xp. I think its got something to do with the registry. Some registry settings might have been corrupted after the unclean shutdown.
