DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL???????

Hi all,

My system is giving whole lot of problems to me....ok the problem i am severaly facing is that....my system all of sudden restarts and frequently shows the blue screen with the error as

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

and whole lot of details.....

and after restarting it says

"The system has recovered from a serious error"

For this i thout the pagefile.sys was corrupted .so formatted the c: drive and reinstalled the Win XP sp2 os but still the problem persist....I also installed the serious error patch of microsoft..but no use

Is this because the memory module has been corrupted???

sys config is 2.4Hz , 865gbf, 256Mb ..........Please Help.........

It's shown becasue of a whole host of reasons. Drivers (mostly grafx drivers) are the culprit most of the times on my system. In this case, just downgrade the driver.
Other times, an unsupported h/w or incompatible s/w and sometimes it even comes during a overclocked run of the system.

thanx 'siriusb' for u r reply....

now for this problem i tried all alternatives like upgrading , downgrading graphic drivers etc...even i installed the sp2 and removed still the problem persists in all condition.

sometimes i get error message saying that pagefile.sys has been corrupted...so for this i reinstalled the os itself....but still no use
