Digit runs on vBulletin which is a PAID forum Script.
As far as your phpbb Forum is concerned....160GB is a looooooooooooooooot. Forum Database for most Big sites is not more than few GIGS.

Attachement, Avatar filesizes extra. :p

Best way to learn is.....phpBB forum itself :)

yeah digit runs on vbulletin.. If u hav a server wit php n mysql installed on it then even a hundred mb of space would suffice for starters.. A freshly installed phpbb takes around 15mb.. If u plan to use attachments n all in d forum then u need more space..

Even .1% of 160 GB is more than enough! :)

phpBB is pretty simple and there is online documentation and forum for support. You won't need a book.

phpBB remains same whether it is installed on Linux server or Windows server.

BTW, this forum doesn't run on phpBB. It runs on vBulletin. *www.vbulletin.com
