I sincerely hope Linus decides to stick on with GPL2. GPL3 is a complicated license and I don't see why the DRM clause is necessary.
But I do believe that the GPL (version 2) is a very good license, as it prevents someone from branching the code without contributing anything back. I doubt linux will ever go to a non GPL linux. Although I personally don't much care for Richard Stallman's moral stance, I think the GPL2 has a good number of practical benefits.
Lets Wait n Watch.. From a quote i learnt that linus hasn't approved switching to GPL3.. But lets wait and see, maybe RMS may persuade or talk with him.. Will he??
