Does DKU 2 cable work with Nokia 6600?

Hi guys I bought a Nokia 6600 recently. I would like to know whether the DKU 2 cable works with Nokia 6600. Also is it that different models of Nokia have different DKU 2 cable for them (someone told me that , but I think it is untrue)

If not , is there any other cable which can be used???

Also is MMC card required or the reduced MMC card required for nokia 6600?

Please check the Nokia site *www.nokia.co.in. I thinkit supports only MMC and not RS-MMC. The other type of Nokia Data Cables are DKU5 cables. It is used for 6610, 3100, 3120 etc...

Could not find anything related to Nokia 6600 data cables. But I know a shop here near my home which says that DCU 2 cables can be connected to Nokia 6600. Although when I checked the DCU 2 cables in ebay none of them had Nokia 6600 written in the compatibility list.

No man, have u seen the bottom side of the 6600, it dont have a slot for that data cable. only theslot for a hands free , battery etc..

U can't use the Datacable....

we cant use dku 2 cable for n6600. as far as antvirus is concerned i have simworks antivirus for my n6630.

@Shikhar, there was a thread abt antivirus for mobiles in the software section, so u can search for that thread.

Even symantec offfers AV for mobiles..

As per my knowledge there is no such data cable available for 6600 to exchange Data from PC.
Use Memory Card Reader Dats the only best way u can exchange data wit high speed.
Regarding Memory cards den 6600 also supports RS-MMC, so if u r planning to buy MMC with higher capacity den go for RS-MMC so that u can use the same card in future with latest models.

OK now leave the MMC card and the antivirus software apart. I was going through the Indiatimes shopping site and found out that a person was selling USB cable for Nokia 6600. check this link and let me know whether this will work or not.

Look at the other end of the cord i.e wich goes inside the cell, do u think u hav a socket in wich this plug can fit? :roll:

To know Nokia 6600 is compatible with which Data Cable you have to contact vendor try Nokia Care and you can use MMC Card upto 1GB to expand his meomary but upto 256 mb is recommendable cause your phone becomes dramatically slower with the more capacity cards than this. Guys Nokia 6600 is not listed in the DKU 2 cable list.

I wonder how the shopkeepers are selling this cable for Nokia 6600. IO can't see any special socket for connecting to PC using the DKU 2 cable.
