    ne idea or any one has done this here..
    can we have a working windows gui with all my s/w's, DUN settings and hardware installed on cd/dvd rom...
    just an idea.... :roll:
    i know of winpe and bartpe also...and have both cd's with me...but need a stripped down superslim M(w)indows off through a cdrom..

    well my friend got a laptop from rotterdam recently. he got a dvd of win xp home along with nav 04 and other utilities bundled along.

    well....ehh..

    think u didnt got me...
    iam speaking of a "LIVE" win98 cd as we have of WIN PE..but customised to my need.

    ya ok buddy got ya !! that bartpe talks of something like u want but already have it .

    i googled this and all the results point to bart pe .

    even i have googled and found that it is possible.!!

    Check This

    but the files they needed for it are nowhere to find...also its a bit too technical..

    any takers?
