Disconnecting Modem without turning off power!

Hello friends !
Can someone please instruct me how to disconnect my modem [SmartAX MT882] without turning off the power switch or telephone cable.I would like to know if anything can be done after logging into *192.168.1.1/ this page using a browser or not. And would that sort of a disconnection would change the IP address or not ?
Hoping to hear from some of you soon and thanking you in advance.

i use above to restart UT modem dont know if it works in your case. replace XXXXXXX with username and password

Thanks a lot for your reply,but that doesn't solve my problem.I am not being able to restart the modem after logging into *192.168.1.1 Would still like to know if that can be done effectively or not without switching off the power to the modem.
