Directx 10 graphics for vista???

I currently have onboard ATI RADEON XPRESS 200 Series on my D101GGC,P4 3.0 GHz and 1GB RAM.

But Vista hangs on this config so Ive decided to get myself a decent graphics card that will help me run vista along with Adobe CS3 Suite Apps.

Im lookin for something around 5-6K.
Can u guys suggest something because as you might have noticed this is the first time Ill be getting a Graphics Card so I know absolutely nothing about which one to get.

a POV 8600 gt based on Nvidia Geforce 8600 chipset will cost u around 5 k in india ............

If u are into adobe CS3, then i recommend u another 1Gb ram too, along with 8600GT.

So I think Ill get the Nvidia 8600 GT.
Just a small question... will it improve the performance of Vista and Photoshop CS3 on my machine? Especially Photoshop?

I cant get another GB of ram cause both the slots are full and they are DDR.. not DDR2 so I thought it would be a waste to get outdated RAM.
OR sould I upgrade my mobo?

Yes it will definitely improve the performance of vista
Just make sure that ur mobo has PCI-E Slot else u have to upgrade ur mobo
If u upgrade ur mobo to DDR2 u will definitely see a performance gain in ur pc.
